Barbara Jean Holden Barker

Barbara Jean Holden Barker, age 86, wife of the late Homer Barker, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 30,2024.

A native of Salem, South Carolina and a homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Henry & Myrtle Ellenburg Holden.

Mrs. Barker is survived by her son; James Barker (Teresa) of Salem, South Carolina, daughters; Martha Ledford of Westminster South Carolina & Ronda Padgett (Rick) of Seneca, South Carolina, grandchildren; Michelle Tyler, Crystal White (Jamie), Heather Barker, & Chris Barker (Lori), great-grandchildren; Hunter Hamby, Hannah Hendrix, Hastin White (Allie), Madison White, Blake Barker, Cody Barker, Ryan Barker, Dustin Tyler, & Dylan Tompkins, great-great-grandchildren; Ella Hamby, Audrey Tyler, Oaklynn Tompkins & Haisley White, sister; Linda Ellenburg of Salem, South Carolina and a special niece; Sherry Todd (Tim) of Anderson, South Carolina; and daughter-in-law Diann Smith and husband Steve of Salem, South Carolina.
In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son; Dale Barker, grandson; Wesley Barker, brother; Edward Holden, and sister; Ella Mae Baldwin.

There will be a graveside service at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca, South Carolina on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
