Betty Jean Anderson Guest, beloved wife of the late Jerome Allen Guest, passed away April 24, 2026, at Clemson Downs. Born March 3, 1929, in Jacksonville Florida, She was the daughter of Robert Theodore and Ella Lynch Bennett of Toccoa, Georgia. Betty was a longtime member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Seneca, where she served as treasurer for many years.

 Betty is survived by her sons, Allen Anderson Guest (Suzette) of Clemson, and David Michael Guest (Beth) of Nashville; grandchildren Emily Guest, Connor (Maggie) Guest, and Natalie Guest; sisters-in-law Claudene Nalley and Katherine Thompson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 Betty was pre-deceased by sisters Essie Mabry (Dorsey), Ethel Anderson (Robert), and Myrtle Cawthon (Bill); brothers Stonewall (Elizabeth) and Freeman (Margie); brother-in-law Eugene Guest; and granddaughter, Allison Katherine Guest.

A memorial service will be held July 2, 2026 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Brown Funerals.

Reverend Alex Stevenson of St. Mark United Methodist Church will officiate. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mark Untied Methodist Church in Seneca.
