Brady Shawn Gibson

Brady Shawn Gibson, 54, of Fair Play, passed away on November 28, 2025. Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Samuel McKinley Gibson and Martha Ann Finley. 

Survivors include his siblings, Sherry (Brian) Long, Lamar (Melissa) Gibson, and his father, Ronald Finley. Other survivors include his nieces, Heather and Candice, nephews, Corey and Cody, his great-nieces, Ava Grace, Mattison, Harley Rose, Ivy Grace, and one great-nephew, Jack.  He is also survived by his dog, Bella, whom he adored.

Shawn also adored his special dog, Jake, who passed away.

He was a member of the Seneca High School 1987 State Championship Baseball Team. Also a collector of Artifacts, especially Indian Arrowheads.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The Oconee County Humane Society.
