Carolyn Sue Scott, 65, of Six Mile, passed away on February 9, 2026, after a brief illness. Born in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late JoAnn Stauch and George Mehler, Jr.

Survivors include her Partner James Pratt of many years. Dog mom to Bocephus and Tempe and Cat’s mom to Rebel and Smudge, Salem and Luna. 

She was a groomer and vet assistant for decades in Savannah, GA. and Jacksonville, FL. which she loved dearly. Carolyn enjoyed cooking and volunteering at the local animal shelter and caring for numerous adopted nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She loved dolphins, orcas, wolves, SpongeBob and Johnny Depp. Her favorite candy was Reese's peanut butter cups. Everyone always requested her peanut butter fudge at Christmas and her Sauerkraut and ribs on new year’s.

And James requested her "Naner Puddin" every chance he could!
