It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy Ann Dial, at the young age of 61.

She lived a life defined by strength, perseverance, kindness and an unwavering love for her family. Though life was not always kind to her, she faced its challenges with resilience and grace ,always found ways to care for those around her. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand in any way she could, and her generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, tending to flowers, and surrounding herself with her favorite color purple. Her greatest happiness came from being a mother and grandmother, and the love she had for her family was evident in everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernal and Doris Fretwell.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Ashley Kapperman and her husband Thomas along with their children, Abigail and Caroline; her son, Brian Dial and his wife, Victoria; her sisters Linda Browning and Carol Reese (Terry); and her brother Joe Fretwell; along with many extended family members who will miss her dearly.

In accordance with her wishes, she has been cremated and the family will gather privately to celebrate her life and the memories they share.
