Grant William Robb, 72, of Seneca, passed peacefully in the arms of his wife, Diane, and his daughter, Serian, on November 22, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on July 21, 1953, in London, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of the late William Robb and Jeanette Dean.
He is survived by and missed by his loving wife, Diane, of 25 wonderful years; his sister Brenda Dempsey and his children, Rhonda McGill and Serian (John) Montalbano. Forever cherished and remembered by his seven grandchildren, Anthony, Shane, Bradley, Aiden, Isaac, Jonathan, and Anna. He was predeceased by one brother, Gary Robb.
After spending the first 6 years of his life in London, Ontario, he moved to Brandon, Florida, where he grew up enjoying the Florida sunshine. He joined the US Navy as a young man and served for several years before being honorably discharged. He began his career with Pratt & Whitney shortly after, as a lead technician in holographic technologies. He was then transferred to their plant in East Hartford, Connecticut, in the late 90s. Shortly after his arrival, he and Diane were introduced by Diane’s former boss and have been by one another’s sides through all of life’s ups and downs. They spent the last 25 years loving each other, loving life, and making beautiful memories.
During his time on this earth, he brought his great sense of humor, positive outlook, and big smile into every experience. He made you feel like you had known him forever. He enjoyed his time on the green, golfing with friends, working in his garden, trying new restaurants with Diane and friends, staying active, and he was always up for trying something new. Diane and Grant were able to travel to some wonderful places in Europe, Italy, Switzerland, and Canada.
Grant also made generous donations to the many charities close to his heart, and he will be making a final contribution to them as he stated in his will.
Grant will be missed beyond what words can describe, and this world will truly not be the same without him.
Diane is planning to hold his celebration of life in the late Spring/early Summer of 2026 on Lake Keowee.
Cremation Society of SC - Brown Funerals is assisting the family.
