Jerry Wayne Turner, 76, of Central, husband of Sylvia Turner of 56 years, passed away on January 11, 2026. Born in Delaware, he grew up in New Castle County, Newark and was the son of the late Walter E. Turner and Nannie "Kate" Turner. 

Survivors include his wife of the home, his two daughters; Gerri Lynn, and Wendy Turner both of Pendleton. Mr. Turner is also survived by his one grandson, Walter Turner of Pendleton. 

Jerry grew up an only child he loved to attend Phillies games and he became a lifelong Phillies fan. 

Mr. Turner was the owner of Jerry's Video in the 80 and 90's and later the owner of Jerry's Pizza in Central. His job at NCR moved the family from Delaware to South Carolina. 

Jerry was a kind and generous man who loved to help others. 

In lieu of flowers , please relax and enjoy a good movie and a pizza in memory of Jerry.
