Katheryn Ponee Harbin Morgan, 92, of West Union, widow of Zetna Morgan and John E. Bearden passed away on May 27, 2026.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of Glen Harbin and Cleo Wheeler.

Survivors include her two sons, Charlie Bearden and Gary (Christy) Bearden, her brother, Billy Harbin, sisters, Faye Cox, Myra Nichols, Joyce Leroy, and Vickie Vaughn. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Melissa Pilgrim, Austin Bearden, Justin Bearden, Joshua Abbott, and Adriane Bearden, and many great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Katheryn was predeceased by her best friend and sister, Dorothy “Dot” Duncan, her sisters, Annette Smith, Elizabeth Martin and one brother, Mike Harbin.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home, the family will receive friends prior to the service from noon until 1:00PM.

Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
