It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Momma and Mema, Lillian Wakaquine Hardin, 85, of Seneca, who went to her heavenly home on August 25, 2026. Born in Stephens County, GA. on September 1, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Paul Cobb and Ovaline Addison Cobb. 

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Eugene H. Hardin. Survivors include her two daughters, Teri Hardin Couch (Mike) of Beaufort, and Mandie Hardin Stephens (Todd Carter) of Seneca, two grandsons, Justin Linker (Lauren) of Chesterfield, VA. and Bryce Stephens (Emily) of Seneca, great granddaughters, Jasmine and Kylie Linker and bonus grandchildren, Lillian and Bryson Perkins. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Cobb Stockman, of Seneca.

Wakaquine was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Brown Funerals, in Seneca. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home. The burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park.
