Marriet Daigle

Marriet Daigle, 75, of Salem, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on July 5, 2025. Born in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Rothschild.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Clarence Daigle, Jr. (“Butch”); daughter, Michelle (Edward) Balon; son, Derrick (Ashley) Daigle; and grandchildren, Katrina Balon and Konnor Balon.  As well as her loving and devoted rescue dog, “Shorty”.

Other survivors include her sister-in-law, Judy (Bruce) Dorr, nephew, Christopher (Teri) Dorr, and niece, Stephanie Dorr. Marriet was predeceased by her in-laws, Clarence and Charlotte Daigle.

Marriet was an avid golfer, a member of the Keowee Key Nine-Holers Club, and she enjoyed wave running and spending time on Lake Keowee with her family. 

In place of flowers, memorials may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
