Mildred Beatrice Smith Jackson, widow of Marvin Jackson, of Seneca, went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2026, at Cottingham Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was married to Marvin Jackson for 57 years. She retired from the JP Stevens Textile Plant in Seneca.

She is survived by her children, Ann Jackson Collins, and Randy Jackson, her grandchildren; Connie Jones Hartsell, Johnny Lee Jones, Jr., Tabitha Jackson Gentry, Brandy Jackson, Ben Jackson, and Cory Jackson. Other survivors include fourteen great - grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Mildred was predeceased by her children, Edith Jackson Jones, and Dewitt Jackson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 2:00PM at Oconee Memorial Park.
