Ophelia Moore, age 79, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on July 25, 1946 in Maple Hill, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Vallie Rhodes and the late Walter Rhodes. 

Ms. Moore attended the Tribble Center and Cerebral Palsy Center. 

In addition to her mother, Ophelia is survived by her sisters; Venetta Moon, Rose Ann Dixon, Daniele Rhodes, Lois Mae Rhodes, and Stella Graham, Nieces; Cynthia Parks and Lakeshia Weston, Special nephew; Daryl Moore, and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. 

Ophelia is predeceased by her brothers; William Earl Rhodes and Anthony Rhodes, and sister; Dorothy Mae Rhodes.

The family will welcome friends in celebrating Ms. Moore's life at 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Brown Funerals in Seneca, South Carolina.
