Pamela Madden Jaynes, 69, widow of Michael Lewis Jaynes, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Born in Seneca, South Carolina, Pam was the daughter of the late Judson Espy Madden and Frances Gambrell Madden. She was a lifelong resident of Oconee County and was known for her kind heart and generous spirit.

Pam was a licensed cosmetologist and certified barber for many years. Throughout her career, she owned and operated The Wishing Well and The Hair Shop Plus. She genuinely loved her profession and treasured the relationships she built with her clients over the years.

She was a faithful member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church and was active in the Seneca Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Seneca Chapter of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed the fellowship these organizations provided and valued the many lifelong friendships she made through them.

Pam found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved baking for family and friends, reading mystery novels, watching classic movies, and collecting snowmen. An avid animal lover, she cared for many cherished pets throughout her life. Although an only child, she was devoted to her extended family and delighted in spending time with those she loved. Her compassionate heart, warm smile, and generous nature left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Surviving are her stepdaughter, Nicole (John) DiRoma; her stepson, Chris (Cynthia) Jaynes; her step-grandson, David Jaynes; along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church located at 530 Old Clemson Hwy Seneca, SC 29672 on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all who cared for Pam during her illness and to the many friends and neighbors who offered their love, support, and prayers.
