Ricky Paul Woods

Ricky Paul Woods, a cherished member of the Seneca, South Carolina community, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born on March , 1957, in Seneca, he graced the world with his presence and made countless memories with family, friends, and colleagues during his lifetime.

Ricky dedicated a significant portion of his career to West Point Stevens, where he contributed passionately to his work and demonstrated an unwavering commitment that inspired those around him.

He is survived by his beloved father, Otis Grant. Ricky was also the proud father of Ricky (Tracy) Woods, who resides in Seneca, and Tiffany (Corey) Watson, who lives in Pendleton. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

Ricky's family circle is further enriched by his five brothers and two sisters, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will carry forth his memory and spirit.

He was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Elijah and Lizzie Woods, and his mother, Clara Woods Carter, both of whom are remembered fondly by those who knew them.

As family and friends gather to honor Ricky’s life, they remember a man who was deeply loved and respected, whose impact on those around him will be felt for generations to come.
