Susan Shook Palmer, of Seneca, born April 19,1959 in Oconee County to the late Aud and Maryann Shook passed away on April 13, 2026.

Survivors include her son Dee Palmer, sisters; Sandra Trader and Becky Leblane, a brother, Roger Shook and her nephews, Brad Smith, Josh Sanders, and Steven Ables she is also survived by two nieces, Sonya Shook, and Yauna Sanders.

Susie was predeceased by her sister, Cathy and one nephew David. 

She has always been known as "Susie" to everyone who knew her. Susie loved having her family and friends around her. Susie was the favorite Aunt to all the children, some of Susie's favorite things were family dinners, and taking the children to amusement parks, picnics on the lake, trips to the mountains, and walking on the beach in the early morning.

Susie will be greatly missed and forever loved. She will always hold a special place in everyone's heart.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family is at their respective homes.
