Xander Cage Sykes

Xander Cage Sykes, 21, of Seneca, passed away on August 20, 2025. Born in Seneca, he was the son of Brian and Amanda Bruce Sykes.

He was a graduate of West Oak High School. His hobbies included gaming, working on cars with his brother and friends, traveling, and he was a lover of shoes and style as well as music.

He made the most of life in any way he could. He tried never to let life get in the way of his goals or dreams. Xander was the man you called when you needed a laugh or a smile, or just someone to talk to, and he just listened. Although his life was short, he had already accomplished many goals, and even though some weren't yet achieved, he has a huge family and a support system that will ensure the rest of his goals and dreams are realized.

Survivors include his parents, his brothers, William (Brianna) Sykes "Will", and Brian "TJ" Sykes, his grandparents, Keith and Sandra Sykes, Larry and Jean Bruce, and Linda Stillman. Other survivors include many aunts, uncles, and cousins across NC, SC, GA, and VA. His nephews, Mason, Nolan, Caiden, Rohan, and one niece, Paisley.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
